Carmen is currently moored in Toulouse after cruising here with the help of James and Sheila Hawkins. James after several careers is currently an author. But he was originally a chef and really enjoys cooking. He took over in the kitchen and served up food such as you might expect in a top class restaurant. He also served as foredeck hand while Sheila travelled ahead on a bicycle to take the ropes in the locks. (The lockkeepers no longer do this since an American lady sued them when a rope dropped back into the boat hit her in the eye).
We had a lovely cruise.
